All funds raised during the festival will benefit COVID-19 relief funds.

Leading film festivals around the world are joining YouTube to announce We are One : a Global Film Festival that shows free movies on their youtube channel from May 29 to June 7, 2020.
This digital festival is produced and organized by Tribeca Enterprises, a company created by Robert De Niro and producer : Jane Rosenthal.

The 7th art will be in the spotlight with this free event brings together 21 of the most important film festivals in the world, which are each responsible for approximately five hours of programming. Among the main general festivals we find Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Toronto, Sundance, New York and Locarno for example.

The programming is already available. A hundred productions were chosen, coming from 35 countries. There are a total of 31 feature films, 72 short films, fifteen discussions with film craftspeople, four exclusives and five works in virtual reality. This event will feature a mix of new and old movies.

Dedicated to the world of cinema, also hit hard by the coronavirus crisis, We Are One : A Global Film Festival also wants to be united since part of the donations collected by this virtual event will be reversed to the World Organization Health (WHO) as well as charitable associations.

Film festivals are based on the belief that artists and creators have the power to bring people together and create meaningful connections at a time when the world needs it most.

Thanks to We are One, the public will be able to discover different cultures from a new angle while supporting local communities with donations.
